You’ll notice that I’ve added a “What’s New?” section at the top of this page. Please check back from time to time. The changes I talk about there are about pages other than posts. But they may include changes that affect posts. You’ll get used to it!
What’s New?
I’ve started a daily posting called “Migraine Daily News”. I go through a number of news search sites and then read through the relevant results from the last day. My aim with this site is to keep it scientifically as accurate as possible. This is why I read the stories first and check any claims where I can. But please note that I am not responsible for what’s written on other websites.
I have updated the “swine flu FAQs” post to include a list of links given by the UK’s National Health Service. My post contains a brief summary of where we are, with citations links so you can see the sources for yourself if you want. I will update this post, rather than the page, as new information comes in:
I’ve added a link in both the “charities” sidebar entry, and in the Migraine FAQs page to the City of London Migraine Clinic website. This clinic offers consultations at whatever the patient can afford. Sadly, I have only now come to hear about it because it is threatened with closure due to a shortage of funding. Click the link that follows to visit their website: City of London Migraine Clinic
I’ve added “back and forward” links in the main series. This is a long overdue change that (ahem) I had missed it’s needing to be done!
What’s on my Blog?
I write about a number of health problems I have. I invite you to share your own experiences and insights. I also try to find and link to news and scientific articles about these. These include:
- An inability or restricted ability to see with your mind’s eye (“cannot visualise”, “unable to visualise”),
- A related problem with memory recall,
- Migraine,
- Persistent migraine aura and “visual snow”,
How to Contact Me
You can always comment to a post. I moderate all comments so you can always let me know if you don’t want a comment published.

Copyrights and Other Stuff
In response to a question, “porillion” is an obscure word for “daffodil”.
Please note that I cannot accept responsibility for accuracy of content on websites that I link to from this one. Though I try to use reliable and accurate sources, I am not a scientist. You should always research migraine, visual snow, persistent aura or visualisation yourself. If you think you may have any medical condition, you should always consult your family doctor.

Thank you for your kind comment, Jonathan. My apologies for the delay in replying to your comment. I eventually figured out that there really was no way of directly replying to one! Duh!
